Two RISE-UP graduates continue their involvement in RISE-UP as Teaching Assistants

Two graduates of the first cohort of RISE-UP start graduate school and work as
teaching assistants in RISE-UP. Henry M. López De León is pursuing a Master of
Architecture program at UPRRP. Henry stated: “I believe in the opportunities they offer
the students and I also hope that the bond they created with the three campuses will
inspire others to do the same or that RISE-UP will include other campuses in the
future.” Axel O. Centeno Torres, is pursuing a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with
emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management at UPRM. Axel stated: “I think
it is important to support these programs that allow us to grow as design and
construction professionals by providing us with tools to face the challenges of the future
in an integrated and innovative way and to motivate new generations.”
