RISE-UP Graduate Research Assistant Presents at 3rd Annual RGV STEM Education Conference

Rey Montalvo, RISE-UP Graduate Research Assistant, attended the 3rd annual Rio Grande Valley STEM Education Conference, where he presented the poster titled “Using Case Studies for Research and Teaching in Undergraduate Courses in Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure”. The poster presented the findings of implementing an interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning (PBL) method to generate possible solutions to infrastructure challenges presented in the aftermath of hurricanes Irma and María in 2017. The event was held in McAllen, Texas in February 2020.
