RISE-UP undergraduate research assistants Gustavo Reyes, Melvin Malavé, Elnois Norat and Víctor Pérez developed a case study database web application as part of their Computer Engineering Design Course supervised by Dr. Nayda Santiago and Dr. Isidoro Couvertier. The project titled The Interdisciplinary Research Network (IReN), consolidates case studies of infrastructure damages caused by natural disasters. IReN allows interdisciplinary teams of UPR faculty and students to collaboratively upload, modify, and search infrastructure case studies. The aim of this tool is to provide a repository of case studies for research and teaching.
